TUX·SKI·DO
/təkˈskēdō/
noun COLORADAN
An elegant collab between high country adventure seekers, philanthropists, and 007 wannabes.
"We spent last Spring at Tuxskido and not only had a great day on the slopes, but also benefitted the kids.”

Who this is for
Benefitting Children’s Hospital of Colorado, the 3rd annual Tuxskido is the only event of its kind (we’re pretty sure). Fundraiser / formal soiree / ski & board day, we’re raising money for the Heart Institute at Children’s, where Lola was born. The Institute is full of actual heroes, and we’re proud to support their mission of saving kids’ lives every single day.
We’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars in the first few years that directly support the Heart Institute. Come out and support the best day of the year!
Our (wonderful) Experience at Children’s Hospital
-
2019
7 months into Amy’s pregnancy, we found out the baby was diagnosed with heartblock, a congenital heart condition affecting the rhythm of the heart. Her atria and ventricles were not communicating, and it became a tenuous position for an unborn child.
Through this period of extreme uncertainty, the staff and experts at Children’s Hospital Colorado worked extraordinarily hard to safely bring Lola into this world. -
2024
Today, Lola is in complete heartblock. Her heart’s beats are strong and powerful, just infrequent and asynchronous. Despite this, she is a completely healthy kid that shouldn’t require much intervention for the next decade. All thanks to the true heroes at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
